About the Assistant Headmaster – Academics
He is a Santaclausian, one of Adisadel’s alumni, and goes by the name of Mr. Alexander Mensah. He is a vital leader responsible for guiding and supervising the academic affairs, curriculum, and instructional practices within the school. He plays a key role in ensuring the delivery of quality education, fostering student success, and cultivating a positive learning environment for all students and staff.
About
Adisadel College has long been regarded as one of the top secondary schools in all West Africa for the great passion and success the school has shown in the educational quizzes and programs attended – like the National Science and Mathematics Quiz, National Cybersecurity Quiz, National Robotics Competitions (First Lego League Competition), Sharks Quiz, Writers’, and Debaters’ Competitions amongst many others whereby the performances were just terrific.
Recent Awards
- Winners of the 2016 edition (and runners up on 6 other occasions) of the National Science and Maths Quiz
- Winners of 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 editions of the National Hockey Championship / Citizens International Inter-Schools (CIIS) Hockey fiesta.
- Winners of 2021 National Robotics Championship.
Courses of study
The school runs a three – year Senior Secondary/Senior High course and prepares students to sit for the West African Examination Council Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) in the following disciplines – Science, General Art, Business and Visual Arts. Students enter institutions of high education like the universities or training colleges after successfully completing the SSCE.
Only four programs are offered in the college for the reason of it being a GES – based institution.
